Astralis talks money

Astralis, formerly TQM, and TSM before that, has opened up about what the salaries are for the players, and some offers that they have recieved for other organizations.

With the recent news of TQM forming their own, player-owned organization, many people have wondered where the sponsor and prize money is going. In an interview with two of their players, Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth and Nicolai "devve" Reedtz, many questions have been answered, including offers that were declined and the player salaries for 2016.

Apparently, TQM recieved extremely lucritave offers since leaving TSM, including this one that devve and Xyp9x mentioned in the interview:

We received a lot of crazy offers in the off-season, and if I remember correctly the biggest offer was around $10,000 dollar salary with a very high signing bonus and the possibility of revenue share after being in the organization for a few years. Also obviously 100% prize- and sticker money. - Nicolai "devve" Reedtz reveales in the interview.

Xyp9x disclosed the players salaries in the interview as well, saying that it is going to average $9,000 per month over the year, which is interestingly lower than their biggest offer of $10,000 per month in addition to many other ways that the players would get money.

We have no problem disclosing our salary. All the players are paid $9,000 per month. This is a monthly average during the next 12 months. We actually start out a bit lower and end up a bit higher due to salary increases over the year. - Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth discloses.
