Mike ''shroud'' Grzesiek willk be substituting for Connor ''streboR'' Roberts at the Northern Arena event this weekend, as Roberts will not be able to attend the tournament for undisclosed reasons. The mix will be facing compLexity, CLG Red and FolloweSports in Group B of the brackets.
As a reminder, the Northern Arena event, held at the Mattamy Athletic Center in Toronto, Canada, will feature eight teams from the North American region that will be fighting for a total prize pool of $20,000. The First place - $10,000; second place -$5,000; third and fourth place -$2,500.
The news was posted after Cloud9's in-game leader, Sean ''sgares'' Gares decided to leave the team to retire from professional CS:GO. The team is actively testing tryouts to secure a fifth player for the core roster, until they find the missing link Cloud9 are taking a break.
