The first map was de_overpass, picked by Team Liquid. Well, how could one describe the first half of this first map? Two words: Virtus Plow! With a final half score of 12:3 in favor of Virtus.Pro, they had only allowed Team Liquid one round, streaking it to 10:1. It was two more rounds the Poles allowed the Americans to gather after that.
Although the second half started the other around, with Team Liquid securing the first three rounds, making it 12:6, there was still a bit of snow left to be plowed. Virtus.Pro came back charging for the remaining four rounds, securing them without any hickups, closing the first map 16:6. Jaros?aw "pasza" Jarz?bkowski, often criticized as the weak spot, stepped up the game, leading his pack with ease.

The second game, which was Virtus.pro's pick, was played on de_mirage. Virtus.pro started on CT side gaining a quick 4-0 lead, but Team Liquid quickly woke up and brought it back toe-to-toe. The first half was full of back-and-forth game where Virtus.pro finally came out on the top of it with 8-7 lead. However, only one round advantage coming out from the CT side on de_mirage wasn't really promising. Having in mind that Team Liquid opened the second half by winning the pistol round, Virtus.pro was really looking shaky. But, going full tec-9 into the next round, Virtus.pro quickly regained control of this map and just snowballed to 16-8.
