Uprise Champions Cup for Europe announced with $15,000

Uprise Champions Cup announced the new season, featuring teams from across Europe fighting for the lion's share of $15,000.

The fourth edition of the Uprise Champions Cup has been announced with an increased prize pool and LAN finals. The prize pool has been boosted up for $5,000 and is now set to $15,000, where additionally $5,000 are reserved for travel costs. The venue and location of the LAN finals is still unknown, so we are yet to hear more information on that.

The event will feature sixteen teams being divided into four groups. The format is set to GSL, double-elimination, where the top two teams of each group will get qualified for the next group stage which will feature a round robin format. Finally, the top six teams of the second group stage will earn their spot at the LAN finals.

The participants list is made of eight teams from the previous season, five invitees and four qualified teams. This left one more spot empty, which will be filled with yet another invited team.
