Liquid withdraws from SLTV StarSeries XIV

Team Liquid has decided to pull out from the ongoing season of StarLadder's StarSeries, the reason was given in their official statement.

Team Liquid has announced that they have decided to pull out from the ongoing season of StarLadder's StarSeries. The team was playing in the North American division, where they are currently sitting in second place in Group C, with one win out of one match.

The reason behind this decision is that the players want to cut the number of tournaments they are competing in and focus more on those where they will actually be able to participate in fully. Besides StarLadder's StarSeries, Liquid is also participating in ESL ESEA Pro League Season 2, where they are currently topping North American division, and the FACEIT league where they are sitting on the second place behind Cloud9.

Our team came to conclusion that we had been playing over, so we need to start declining and dropping some leagues. We also came to the conclusion that your League will be one of the leagues that we will be dropping right now. I am sorry that this happened with such short notice but we consider it is better for us, as a team. We were approached by some leagues that haven't been announced yet, and we had to turn them down.” - was said in Liquid's official statement.

The next LAN stop for Team Liquid will be in Santa Ana in California, where we will see them in action during the iBUYPOWER Invitational Fall. This tournament is scheduled for November 14-15 and you can find more information on this link.
