The initial day of The World Championship 2015 is behind us and the first four playoffs participants are already known.
The first day of The World Championship 2015 went more or less smooth with only small technical issues and delays. The biggest issue was Portugal's withdrawal, but the organisers went for a very handy solution, proceeding with only three teams in that group.
The first group saw Germany topping it by taking down both Serbia and Sweden. The Germans looked very confident and on point, and even more favored Swedish team didn't had answer to their game, losing de_cache 13-16 to Germany. The biggest surprise of the group was Indonesia. The Asian team placed third and surprised everyone with a very good performance.
Group B featured only three teams, since in the last minute Portugal decided to withdraw from the competition. Russia, the biggest favorite of this group has just walked over their opponents and placed first, while Kyrgyzstan has managed to take a 2-0 victory away from Tunisia for the second place in this group.
The event continues today with the last two groups, and it will be interesting to see how will be 'the strongest' group C get concluded.
