The second winners bracket match saw Fnatic and Team Solomid fighting for a place in the winners bracket finals. As always, the viewers could expect only the best from these two juggernauts. Fnatic's pick for this best-of-three series was de_inferno, whereas TSM chose de_dust2. If the third map was neccessary, it would have been played on de_overpass.
The first map kicked off with a mediocre CT side by TSM on de_inferno. The Danish team only claimed nine rounds, allowing Fnatic to climb up to six on their T side. However, as they switched in the second half, TSM oiled up their machines and demonstrated an even better T side half, closing this map out with a 16-14 score.
On de_dust2 we saw Fnatic having a better start on their CT side. The Swedes quickly secured nine rounds, but that seemed to be the breaking point for them, as TSM quickly made it back to 9-6. The second half saw Fnatic playing eco rounds one after another, and TSM had an easy time closing it out with a 16-10 score.
The second day is scheduled to start at 13.00 CEST tomorrow with the match between Team Liquid and Fnatic, which is also an elimination match, later on in the day Virtus.pro and Team Solomid will fight in the winners bracket finals at 16.00 CEST.
