Despite issues that have come to light over the past 24 hours, including a failure to pay venue rent and equipment rent, Gaming Paradise will continue at the request of the players.
A failure to pay rent for the venue and for the production equipment halted Gaming Paradise today and the likelihood of the tournament being played out appeared to be in jeopardy, until teams spoke with the organizers to continue playing out the event to determine the prize pool.
Toby "TobiWan" Dawson, a commentator for the event, gave a running log of events this afternoon on his twitter account, including local police seizing player passports until the dispute was settled.

Since then, players have worked with the organizers to get the tournament started and passports have been returned. Titan's manager Jerome "NiaK" Sudries and players Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeax and Kevin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans are all in the hospital undergoing tests after showing signs of sickness at the event.
