Fragbite Masters Season 5 600,000 SEK ($71,000) tournament starting on the 5th of September, sixteen teams to fight for a slice of the money.
Tomorrow, the 5th of September, we will witness the beginning of the Fragbite Masters Season 5 tournament. To start things off, we will see a Champions Showdown, where Fnatic and TSM will fight each other for 100,000 SEK ($11,840) of the aggregate prize pool.
The distribution of the prize pool will be the same as we saw in Season 4; however, the formatting will be a little different. There will be no group stage for the online portion of the tournament; instead it will adhere to single elimination, BO3 for both the eight invited teams and the eight that have already qualified. The top 3 teams will be joining the winner of the Champion Showdown at the LAN finals in December.
As for the qualifiers, there will be two open single elimination pre-qualifiers where the four winning teams will be taking themselves that much closer to the main tournament, where they will play against the remaining invited teams.

28th-30th September (Final qualifier — 8 qualified vs. 8 invited)
