DreamHack has announced North American pre-qualifiers for the next major at DreamHack Cluj-Napoca.

Announcing first the European and Asian pre-qualifiers, it was just a matter of time till DreamHack released more information on North American region. As reported already that the final closed qualifier will be held during DreamHack Stockholm on September 22nd-26th, the North American region will send two representatives from this pre-qualifier to try their luck among the rest of the teams in Stockholm.
The North American pre-qualifier will have the same format as the European and Asian pre-qualifiers. It will feature a 256 teams single elimination bracket, which will be open for everyone. The top four teams of this bracket will then move on to the closed stage where they will be joined by another four directly invited teams.
The four invited teams for closed stage:
Team Liquid
compLexity
Sponsorless
Mythic
The North American pre-qualifier will be run by FACEIT as well as the other two region pre-qualifiers. The registrations are still open and anyone who has a team from this region is free to sign up on this link. The two winners of this pre-qualifier will have a full travel and accomodation provided by DreamHack for the closed qualifier in Stockholm.
