Mousesports niko to join active lineup, replacing Spiidi

After a decent performance as a temporary stand-in for SK Gaming and Team Kinguin, mousesports have reconsidered Nikola “niko” Kovac’s role as a substitute and have now put him into the main lineup.

Unfortunately this means that Timo “Spiidi” Richter will have to make space for the young starter, as he now has to adopt the role of a substitute player.

The change has already taken place as mousesports have played against fnatic in PGL Season 1 earlier this day. As chrisJ could not attend, Spiidi yet again joined his former squad mates. This decision was made as soon as the team was able to get to rest a little, following a two-month marathon in which they attended five tournaments. In the official statement it was said that niko’s performance has been re-evaluated and it was decided he should be put into a more active role, as he managed to do well as a stand-in for Team Kinguin and SK Gaming.

However, a statement to why it was Spiidi that had to step down from the starter lineup was not issued. The new, remodeled roster of mouseports.CS can be viewed below.

Germany Fatih “gob b” Dayik – Team Captain
Germany  Chris “chrisJ” de Jong
Germany  Denis “denis” Howell
Germany  Johannes “nex” Maget
Bosnia and Herzegovina  Nikola “niko” Kovac
Germany  Timo “Spiidi” Richter – Substitute
