PGL has released more information on the group draw and talent’s line-up for the first season of their CS:GO league.
PGL has announced the group draw for the first season of their CS:GO league. The twelve teams will be divided into three groups, where two of them are reserved for the European teams, while the third one will consist of North American teams.
Group A is scheduled for August 26th – 29th and will feature:

Natus Vincere
Virtus.pro
EU Qualifier #1
Group B will start right after the group A is concluded and will be played on August 30th – September 2nd:
Fnatic
Team EnVyUs
Titan*
EU Qualifier #2
* Titan has replaced Ninjas in Pyjamas as the Swedish team had to withdraw from the tournament due to scheduling conflicts.
Group C will feature the North American teams and will commence on September 8th – 11th:
Luminosity Gaming
Counter Logic Gaming
Team Liquid
NA Qualifier.
As a reminder, the winners of the each group will directly advance to the LAN finals, while the second, third and fourth placed teams from the European groups will have a second chance to grab their spot at the LAN finals throughout the Last Chance tournament. In charge of the live commentary and analysis will be Matthew “Sadokist” Trivett, Henry "HenryG" Greer and Joona “Natu” Leppanen.
Group stage prize distribution:
1st place - $4,000 + Playoff slot
2nd place - $2,000
3rd place - $1,000
