G2 part ways with their team

Gamers2 have announced that they're dropping their current CS:GO line-up after the team's bad run at Plonsk Challenge this weekend.

The organisation of Gamers2 have parted ways with their team with immediate effect. The move from the organisation has been expected as the team has failed to even reach the finals at local LAN in Plonsk, Poland. The Gamers2 website said that the players are now released from their contracts and are free to pursue new opportunities.

The organisation has released a following statement:

Gamers2 would like to announce that it has reached an agreement with its CS:GO team to part ways, effective immediately. All players have been released from their contracts and are free to pursue their careers elsewhere.

Counter-Strike has been a vital part of Gamers2 for roughly six months now. We signed an up-and-coming team and provided it with tools to compete at the highest level.  Sadly, despite our best efforts, the team struggled to find the consistency required to be considered a household name in the scene, which, coupled with the internal problems that recently came to light, left us with no choice but to make this decision.

We would like to thank all the players who represented Gamers2 for their service and wish them the best of luck in the future. A special word of thanks also goes to Mariusz “Loord” Cybulski, who truly showed the attitude and the professionalism that made him a champion during his playing career, and to our Polish fans, who proved why they are among the most passionate out there.

With regards to the future of Gamers2’s CS:GO section, this is not the end, far from it. We want to make it clear that we are hard at work finding another roster and that we will break into the scene again with full force when the time is right. A new era at Gamers2 is coming, and we cannot wait to reveal what our new approach will bring!

Ex-Gamers2 line-up are currently free agents:
Poland Pawe? "innocent" Mocek
?Poland Miko?aj "mouz" Karolewski
?Poland Grzegorz "SZPERO" Dziama?ek
?Poland Micha? "MICHU" Müller
?Poland Jacek "minise" Jeziak
