Acer Predator Masters finals to kick-off today

The LAN finals of the Acer Predator Masters’ premier season are about to kick-off today with the eight teams fighting for the grand prize of $20,000.

The first season of Acer Predator Masters featured a total of twelve teams fighting through the round robin group stage where the top eight teams moved on to the finals. Those teams are now being gathered at TaKeTV's studio, in Krefeld, Germany.

The format for LAN finals is set to double-elimination bracket with best-of-three series. However, a very interesting and unique fact is that the grand finals will be played in best-of-seven format. The team coming from upper bracket will still have one map advantage, but it could possibly go to a few hours long match. Deffinitely it will be interesting to see how this decision will turn out.

The talent’s crew is consisting of Richard Lewis, who will be in charge of hosting the event, and Halvor "vENdetta" Gulestøl, Henry "HenryG" Greer, Daniel "ddk" Kapadia and Rahim Abdullaev who will be doing a live commentary.
