EZSkins announce a new team

EZSkins.com have announced the capture of a new UK-based team who will be taking part in the UK Gfinity Chapionship this Saturday.

EZSkins ventured into the world of competetive Counter-Strike in May of this year after they signed a team previously known as exceL. The team went onto compete at the UK Premiership Spring finals in London, England, where they didn't have a strong showing as they've finished 3rd-4th.

The results of the previous team the EZSkins website had supported didn't stop them from venturing into the world of eSports again however; This time the organisation have tied new players down to professional contracts.

The team is one of the most exciting prospects in the UK scene and mainly consists of ex-XENEX team who managed to win the UK Premiership Spring finals after beating Infused in the Grand Final 2 to 0.

The team capitan, Sam "RattlesnK" Gawn, has stated:

Despite our recent triumph with XENEX at the ESL UK Premiership we decided that in order to reach our full potential we would need to make changes to our personnel and organisation. With Luke and Brandon we acquired two of the best UK players who have shown their quality and will undoubtedly make us stronger in the future. The balance to the squad is far superior than with previous UK teams and I feel this will help us develop a solid team that is capable of playing as I always envisaged. It’s honestly been extremely difficult over the last two years to find five UK players with the dedication and ability to play the game as I’ve wanted. With this line-up I feel we will at least stand a fighting chance of showing that a UK team can deliver and provide exciting and fluid CS. Under the EZskins backing we will be fully supported by guys we consider friends and therefore in time I am confident we will bring them the results they deserve. I know many people seem to think UK players are lazy or don’t deserve anything but we all feel privileged to have this opportunity in a game we have a genuine passion for. We all play because we want to be successful and prove that the UK scene can and will prove the countless doubters and haters wrong.”

The former professional player Henry "HenryG" Greer, who currently works as EZSkins director also commented on the matter:
