For their map pick, Virtus.Pro opted to start the series out with one of the most popular maps in the rotation, de_cache. The opening moments of the match didn't go to plan for the Polish side however, with fnatic steamrolling them with a suprisingly fast push that resulted in a flawless round for the Swedes. VP replied with the first rifle round, and from then on the half was back and forth, with both teams not letting the other build momentum. The half ended spectacularly 8:7 for fantic with Freddy "KRiMZ" Johansson taking a quadkill round with a desert eagle. VP started the second half strong, nearly taking a flawless pistol round as well, and climbing up to four rounds. Fnatic broke the momentum momentarily with a eco win, but the polish team managed to finally close out the map in the end 16:12.

de_overpass saw dominating performance from fnatic, who locked Virtus.Pro out of the map with brutal terrorist side: first taking the initial five rounds, then breaking their opponents back after they took their first round, bringing their rounds up to ten. After a brief time-out, VP took a second round with an aggressive four man push out towards fountain, but once again fnatic only them one more before continuing their domination, bringing the halftime score to 12:3. Virtus.Pro couldn't find anything else in the final rounds of the map, with fnatic taking their CT pistol without losing a single player and the three ensuing rounds to end it out with a final score of 16:3.

The deciding map of the series to see who would take the spot in the grandfinals was de_dust2, a map that neither team are known for having strong performances on. Fnatic seemed to be poised to have a repeat of ther domination on overpass, taking an early 5:1 lead against Virtus.pro; however, the Poles managed to regain a little of their composure through the first half, ending the half 11:4 in fnatic's favor. VP began to make a comeback on their T side after winning a very strange and drawn out pistol, managing to bring the rounds up to seven, and after a very precarious forcebuy situation, to 9:12. Fnatic stopped their short-lived run however, breaking VP's economy and cruising to a relatively comfortable victory, taking the series 16:9 and winning their spot in the grandfinals against C9.
