The match which surely was predicted to happen in the grand finals of this tournament had to be played in the elimination match of group B. TSM started the process by removing de_cache, where Fnatic followed by the ban of de_inferno, TSM then removed de_cobblestone and de_train, while Fnatic decided to ban de_mirage and de_dust2. This left de_overpass as the last map in this pool.

TSM opened the match by winning the pistol round. However, Fnatic stricked back with the force buy and brought this match to 1-1, which then allowed them to make an early lead. However, TSM wasn't waiting for too long to get themselves back on board. With the first full buy they started rolling and as a result they ended the first half with the six rounds on the T side. The second half saw TSM once again taking the pistol round and tying up this game once again. This was the moment when they had a lead for the second time in this match. However, Fnatic showed some very well executes with a very calm play which resulted in breaking TSM's economy and a very close finisher where the Swedish team came out on the top of it with the 16-14 score.

Fnatic will play tomorrow in the quarter finals against Keyd Stars, where the winner of this match will meet Virtus.pro in the semi finals on Saturday.
