Uprise Champion's Cup is back with a third season, this time with bigger prize pool and other improvements.
In May we saw Vega Squadron take down PiTER at the Uprise Champions Cup Season 2 LAN Finals inside the Moscow Cyber Stadium. Now, the organization has announced a third season of the event, starting today and continuing for three monthes. The tournament will feature both CS:GO and DOTA 2, with a total $13,000 prize pool, almost triple the the previous season's.
Another major change to event is the participating teams: instead only CIS teams, this third season will feature a impressive sixteen total teams, this time with European competitors in the mix. As in the previous tournament, UCC season 3 will have two divisions, the main Champion league and the Uprise league. the Uprise league will be a chance for up and coming CIS teams to prove their worth in a 512 team pool, with the top six finishers in the three seperate tournaments being given a qualification spot in the premier league.
