During the veto process, we saw both teams removing the maps which they felt unconfortable playing against each other, eventually the last map in the pool was de_mirage. Fnatic has gained in a reputaion for being one of the best de_mirage teams internationally, and CLG didn't really have much of a choice, since for Fnatic being one of the best teams in the world means that they can perform on any map.

The match started off great for the Swedish titans, as Fnatic took the pistol round in a very dominant fashion, but in the second round we saw that CLG didn't come to LAN only to retreat. CLG quickly brought it back to 1-1 after a force buy with Tec9s. But, with another force buy, Fnatic managed to get this match back into their control. Soon after it was 6-1. From this moment on, CLG started crashing Fnatic's economy round by round, and escalated into six rounds for the North American team at the end of the first half. The second pistol round saw CLG stacking the B bomb site, working out perfectly for CLG, as they caught Fnatic completely off guard. With the economy built, CLG extended their round score and quickly after, they were in the lead. At the 12-9 scoreline Fnatic, called for a tactical time out, however, this didn't help them much, as CLG just continued running the same splits they had done before. Finally, CLG won the map at a solid 16-12 scoreline.

The next match will feature Team Solomid and Keyd Stars in another semi finals of this group. CLG will wait for the winner of this match, while Fnatic will play in the losers match. Those matches are scheduled to start at 20.00 and 21.00 CEST.
