Team EnVyUs is the second finalist of Gfinity Summer Masters I following their 2-1 victory over Dignitas.
The second semi finals match saw Team EnVyUs taking on Team Dignitas. The Danish side was looking really good yesterday and it is definitely clear that they are currently rapidly improving, where the French team was also in a recent slump, but with the results from the group stage it's no doubt that nV is slowly getting back on their old form.
The second map, dust2 is the map which proves to be one of the most inconsistent maps in the past. Although it's known that both nV and Dignitas are good on this map, we saw the French side taking down some of the best teams in the world on this map in the past. However, today Dignitas just stomped them. The Danish team took 10 rounds on T side, although it could have been even more. In the end, they didn't really have much issue to close it with 16-8 and start off this match on a very dominant way.
The next in line was de_overpass where again the both teams had good results recently. Dignitas started a bit shaky on their CT side, but still managed to take 10-5 lead and to kick-off the second half with the pistol round and a 12-7 lead. However, nV proved once again that they are indeed a team which knows how to play with force buy and under a heavy pressure. They brought this back and head 15-13 score in their favour. Finally, we saw an overtime where the French team came out better to make it 1-1 and to bring this match into the third map.
The third map was de_cache, where nV didn't want to leave anything for Dignitas to cling to. They started off strong on their T side claiming eight rounds and finishing 8-7 at the end of the first half. The second half saw even more superior nV, not allowing Dignitas to take even a single round on their T side for the final 16-7.
