Ninjas in Pyjamas are the first finalists of Gfinity Summer Masters I following their 2-0 victory over Mousesports.
The first semi finals match featured Ninjas in Pyjamas and Mousesports. The German team really surprised during the group stage as they defeated Virtus.pro twice to qualify for the playoffs. On the other hand, NiP had a flawless run in the group A topping it with 2-0.
The opening map was played on de_train, which was Mousesports' pick. The German team was struggling to find a way to build up their economy on CT side. While, NiP was looking really strong claiming 8 rounds on T side of this map, which is pretty impressive. Later on, Mousesports started off really well on their T side claiming the pistol round and climbing back, but once NiP took money into their hands and bought the big guns, they just closed this map with 16-13.
The second map was totally one sided as we saw a superior NiP demolishing Mousesports. The German team couldn't really find any space to work with and they finished with only 2 rounds on board. NiP showed once again a very strong CT side where they scored 13 rounds in total, where at 13-2 scoreline they just had an easy task closing this match after they took the second pistol round as well.
