The group stage of Gfinity Summer Masters I has concluded with the top four teams moving on to the playoffs.
The group stage of Gfinity Summer Masters I has concluded after the top four teams were determined throughout the GSL format. Earlier today, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Team EnVyUs already secured their spots in the playoffs as they respectfully topped their groups. However, Dignitas and Mousesports had to fight through their deciding matches in order to get their place in the playoffs.
Dignitas went against Titan in a very interesting match where Dignitas took a 1-0 lead after their very good show at de_mirage where they won 16-13. However, Titan had a very strong performance at de_cobbletone which brought this series to 1-1. The French team ended with 16-8 victory which increased their confidence as they were moving on to the third map. On the other hand, we saw a very close match between Mousesports and Virtus.pro. We saw a double overtime at the first and a third map where VP claimed the first map, but the German team came back by winning the next two.
Playoffs schedule:
13.00 CEST - Ninjas in Pyjamas vs Mousesports
15.30 CEST - Team EnVyUs vs Team Dignitas
18.30 CEST - Grand Finals
