ESL ESEA Pro League: Groups for LAN finals revealed

ESL and ESEA have revealed the groups for the ucpoming LAN finals of their premier Pro League event.

The LAN finals of the ESL ESEA Pro League premier season will commence on July 2nd-5th in Cologne, Germany. The top four teams of each division will meet and fight for the grand prize of $100,000.

Following the online phase standings, the organizers have accordingly seeded all the teams into the two groups. Moreover, they have also revealed the initial matches of the groups which will be played in a GSL format. The group stage will be followed by the playoffs where the top three teams of each group will move on. The first ranked teams will start from the semi finals, while the second and third place teams of the group stage will battle it out from the quarter finals.

In the group A, Virtus.pro will be first to open day one as they will take on Luminosity Gaming, while the second match-up will be between Cloud9 and EnVyUs. Group B will see Fnatic fighting against CLG, while Keyd Stars will have Team Solomid as their first opponents.

The show will kick off on July 2nd, starting at 11.00 CEST. The whole group stage will be played throughout the first day, while the second day is reserved for the show match and quarter final matches. The third day will see another show match and semi final duels, while the final day will be reserved for yet another show match and the grand finals.
