CounterPit League is currently underway with its premier season featuring a $50,000 prize pool and some of the best teams fighting for the cut of it. However, one of the biggest brands in the CS:GO community, Ninjas in Pyjamas have been forced to withdraw from this league due to overbooked schedule.

Recently, we have witnessed the increased numbers of the ongoing tournaments within the CS:GO competitive scene. This has not only put pressure on the teams, but also on the tournament organizers. Therefore, news that some teams are pulling off the events is becoming more and more common, and it's yet to be seen how will this all work out in the future.

CounterPit League has already started, and a few matches have been played. Howerver, Ninjas in Pyjamas haven't played any matches yet, so the organizers had an easy task on replacing them. The team which will take NiP's seat will be Team Kinguin. The newly formed international squad led by two star players Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom and Mikail "Maikelele" Bill will have a chance to prove themselves against some of the best teams in the the European scene. They will be placed in  group A which is currently being topped by Natus Vincere.

CounterPit league is returning today with the new matches of group B. The first on the schedule is a match between Mousesports and HellRaisers which is starting at 18.00 CEST. The next to follow is a duel between EnVyUs and HellRaisers which will kick-off at 21.00 CEST.
