South East Asia gets FACEIT servers

FACEIT have expanded their popular league and PUG service to the South East Asia region due to popular demand.

FACEIT have announced today that they will be launching new servers in South East Asia, a region in which CS:GO has been steadily gaining popularity but is severely under-served by third party PUG and ladder services.

The majority of servers will be based in Singapore, with another sixteen already on the way due to high load. To further promote the launch, FACEIT will be hosting three SEA tournaments with a $1,500 prize pool each, as well as launch event where SEA players can play a premium ladder for free for the first night.

Alongside the region expansion, FACEIT has also taken the opportunity to revamp some features of their match making system, such as additional languages, UI fixes, and the ability to customize the sound and duration of found match alert, a feature that players have long awaited.
