AREA VAC banned

Famous for his incredably high Head-Shot ratio French player Julien "AREA" Dubois has been handed a VAC ban and has commented on the situation himself.

The French player has been regarded as one of the biggest talents in the French scene and his early CS:GO days have earned him comparisons to a player of such high reputation as Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom. AREA during his brief adventure with the professional CS scene has even managed to turn down a move to LDLC who eventually ended up crashing out in the semi-finals of ESL One Cologne.

After turning down LDLC AREA has been relativly quiet. Reasoning behind that was, as the player himself stated, the lack of motivation. He has been inactive and without a team since about half-way through 2013. After being contacted by Vakarm.net, AREA has conformed the VAC ban is related to CS:GO. However, the player denied any cheating accusations and said that he's considering contacting Valve over this matter.

AREA has been suspected of cheating by many people due to his very high HS ratio and connections to players like Hovik "KQLY" Tovmassian. Ex-Epsilon player, Joey "fxy0" Schlosser, has commented on that matter in an interview after the famous "Operation VACation". fxy0 gave a following statement:

When GMX and I saw the news about KQLY's VAC ban, it was not a surprise for me. [...] The only cheater in France was Julien "AREA" Dubois, and he is KQLY's best friend.
