XENEX defeated Team Infused 2-0 in the grand finals of ESL UK Premiership Season 1 to claim the grand prize of £2,500.
The ESL UK Premiership Season 1 LAN finals was held over the past two days at The MCM London Comic Con where the top four teams from UK gathered up to fight for the title and grand prize of The £2,500.
The first semi finals duel was played on 23rd May where XENEX easily took down FM eSports by winning both maps with the similiar score of 16-11. However, Team Infused was even more dominant in the second semi finals match, smashing EZskins 2-0, 16-9 and 16-5.
The grand finals were opened on de_cache where the both teams were tied up, but in the end XENEX managed to overcome Infused 26-23 and to take 1-0 lead in this best-of-three series. On the second map which was de_mirage, Infused found themselves totally shut down as XENEX allowed them to take only 4 rounds on T side, and as they moved on to the CT side they got totally knocked back for the final score of 16-4.
