The inaugural season of the CounterPit League is set to kick-off today with the first match between Dignitas and Virtus.pro
The inaugural season of the CounterPit League is set to feature a $50,000 prize pool and some of the best teams coming from the Europe. A total of twelwe teams have been disitributed into the two groups, six in each, where they will be battling out in the round robin format. All the matches will be played in a best-of-two format.
The first day of the league will feature two best-of-two matches where the first one between Dignitas and Virtus.pro is scheduled to start at 19.00 CEST. Both, Dignitas and Virtus.pro, have been showing a great performance recently and it will surely be very interesting to watch the action between these two teams.
The second match-up of the day will see Team Solomid taking on Team EnVyUs at 21.00 CEST. TSM has recently won a two LAN titles, at CCS and FACEIT, and after breaking the semi finals 'curse' the Danish team is showing a top level performance, while on the other hand EnVyUs has been struggling a bit lately and it will be interesting to see what the French guys can pull out against a phenomenal Danish squad.
