rain leaves LGB eSports

LGB confirmed in official statement that Håvard ”rain” Nygaard has been released from their team and the player is free to join a new organization.

A week ago we reported rumours that Maikel "Maikelele" Bill and Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom are making a new international team alongside with Håvard "rain" Nygaard, Ricardo "Fox" Pacheco and Alexander "SKYTTEN" Carlsson. First it was announced that Ricardo "Fox" Pacheco had left his ex-team, k1ck eSports, where today LGB eSports confirmed that Håvard "rain" Nygaard has been released from the team and is free to join the new team with which he has been in talks with.

Today is a big day for electronic sports, Diglife and LGB eSports. We have through a very professional process and discussions reached a historic deal to transfer Håvard ”rain” Nygaard to an exciting new team. The sale represents an acknowledgement of our strategic thesis that electronic sports growing into a global and professional industry, just like any other professional sports category. At last, on behalf of LGB eSports and Diglife, I would like to thank Håvard for the excellent results delivered over his course with us. We wish him the best of luck in the future. - said Hicham Chahine, Founder and CEO of Diglife, which owns LGB eSports.

This only brought more attention to the rumours which are surrounding SK Gaming and their potential acqusitation of this international roster. However, LGB eSports is now down to three man roster with Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel, Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad and Pål "Polly" Kammen. But, we could already see Preben "prb" Gammelsæter and Kristoffer "Mystic" Michelsen filling in the missing slots which could actually imply that the following players will eventually join the roster on the long run.
