Group B of the FACEIT London LAN Finals has concluded, as Virtus.pro and Team SoloMid secure their spots in the playoffs.
Consisting of Virtus.pro, Team SoloMid, Na'Vi, and eLevate, group B of the event saw some very close matches between rival teams. While eLevate were already knocked out of the tournament yesterday following their 2-0 losses against Na'Vi and Virtus.pro, VP, TSM, and Na'Vi were still battling for their spots in the playoffs.
The day kicked off with a match between Virtus.pro and Team SoloMid, where the Poles managed to dominate TSM on de_mirage 16-4, lose de_inferno 16-6, and finally win de_overpass 16-12 thanks to an insane comeback from a 12-7 scoreline in favour of the Danes. Virtus.pro will be the first team in group B to secure a spot in the playoffs.
The next and final match of group B was between Na'Vi and Team SoloMid, where Na'Vi managed to win de_overpass 16-6. However, TSM managed to pull it together the next two maps, winning de_cache 16-8 and de_mirage 16-13. They will now join Virtus.pro in the playoffs as well.
