Cloud9 adds Skadoodle and fREAKAZOiD

At the center of the North American shuffle, Cloud9 has announced the acquisitions of Skadoodle and fREAKAZOiD to round out their CS:GO lineup.

It was just last week when Cloud9 released semphis and ShahZam from the team after a long stretch of disappointing results in multiple events. That same day, Ryan "fREAKAZOiD" Abadir accidentally leaked what looked to be a Cloud9 player contract.

Rumors began to swirl throughout the community as to who the other signing would be. Today, the North American organization has confirmed the additions of fREAKAZOiD and none other than Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham.

Skadoodle has been standing in for various teams over the last few months. However, he has been without a home since four of his former iBUYPOWER teammates were banned from competitive play for their involvement in a CS:GO betting scandal.

This move may come as a surprise to many, as Skadoodle had been linked to creating a new team with Spencer "Hiko" Martin. It appears that Hiko will now be moving forward on his own, as his fellow star free agent has been scooped up by his former squad.

It is also worth noting that Cloud9 is bringing in one of Latham's old teammates, Braxton "swag" Pierce, who was caught in the aforementioned betting scandal. Unable to play for the foreseeable future, swag will serve as an analyst for the team.

Tres "stunna" Saranthus, the manager of the team, had the following to say on the big move:

There are few words that can accurately express the amount of revitalization going on within the Cloud9 camp. In fREAKAZOiD and Skadoodle, we have two players with the most obvious goal to win first and foremost. I look at the hunger to succeed as an extremely essential key to success going forward with any player. These players aren’t out for themselves, but for the common good of bringing titles back to NA.

In Pierce, I see one of the world’s best competitors and with him a vast knowledge of competitive experience. I cannot think of a former professional player more capable of helping to guide this team to where it needs to be.

Cloud9 now has the following lineup:
United States Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert
Canada Mike "shroud" Grzesiek
United States Sean "sgares" Gares
United States Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham
United States Ryan "fREAKAZOiD" Abadir
United States Braxton "swag" Pierce (analyst)
