pyth to join Luminosity.gg

After leaving behind Team Orbit, Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi has disclosed that he will being moving to NA to play with Luminosity.gg.

Earlier this week, we reported that Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi had decided to part ways with his former teammates after collectively jumping ship from Swedish esports organization Orbit. The sudden move raised intrest from the community, as rumors have made their rounds through the community that the current North American shuffle will lead to the creation of a multinational lineup(s).

These suspicions have proved to be correct, as today pyth has announced that he will be moving to North America in order to join Luminosity.gg in the place of Carey "frozt" Kertenian. Although frozt is still technically part of the teams active roster, he will not play any official matches for the team and it is still unknown what his next move will be.

The Swedish player will be headed to Canada along with with his soon-to-be teammate Todd "anger" Williams to focus full time on on their CS:GO careers. Luminsoity's statement on the roster change is as follows:

We are incredibly excited to announce the addition of Swedish born Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi to our North American CS:GO roster. We have long been an admirer of Jacob, and could not pass on the opportunity to bring such an exciting young talent on board. In what we believe is a first for NA CS:GO, Jacob will be moving from Sweden to Canada to live with new teammate Todd "anger" Williams to focus on CS:GO full time. He will be replacing frozt in the starting lineup. We would like to thank frozt for the time and sacrifices he made to help us prepare and compete for the ESEA & CEVO Lan Finals. He will remain an active member of the team until further notice.
