ESL and ESEA have combined forces to host the largest CS:GO event ever. The ESL ESEA Pro League will feature teams from Europe and North America fighting for the lion's share of $1,000,000.
ESL and ESEA have announced that they will be merging forces to host the biggest CS:GO league to date. The new league will be named ESL ESEA Pro League and will feature a two divisions, one for Europe and one for North America.
Both divisions will see a twelve team league in each, where the top finishers of both divisions will clash in the regional LAN finals. These LAN finals will be held in ESL studios in Burbank, California, and Cologne, Germany.
Ralf Reichert, managing director of ESL, had the following to say about the new project:
All the games will be played on ESEA servers with their own anti-cheat tool. However, more information on the participants and league format will be known in the upcoming days.
