Ninjas in Pyjamas announced today that their CS:GO team have undergone a new change. The long time coach, Faruk “pita” Pita, is parting ways with the organization and Joona "natu" Leppänen will stepping in to replace him.
Joona "natu" Leppänen announced his retirement from competitive playing only a few days ago; ever since then, there has been much speculation as to where he will continue his career in esports. The most common choice was at casting, as he could be seen at the analyst desk a few times already. However, the Finnish star decided to try a new challenge and help the Swedish powerhouse to achieve better results in the future.
One of the Ninjas in Pyjamas longtime players, Adam “friberg” Friberg, also commented on this change saying that they are very exited to have Natu join them as a coach. Furthermore he stated that the Finn is an experienced player that's been around for a long time and that he will help them develop as a better team.
Ninjas in Pyjamas have just returned from Bucharest where they played CCS kick-off season LAN finals during the last weekend. They managed to finish third, following two heavy defeats against Team SoloMid and Fnatic. This change will surely help them to get out of this recent slump.
