Former Cloud9 player Spencer "Hiko" Martin has announced that he will be standing in for Team eLevate at the upcoming CEVO LAN.
The 25 year old CS:GO player has been teamless ever since he left Cloud9 in December of last year, focusing more on streaming and analysing, as seen during ESL One Katowice 2015. However, he also noted in an interview with Fragbite that he is planning on joining a team by the next major, which will be held between August 22nd - August 22rd as ESL One Cologne 2015.
It now appears that Hiko will be replacing Tyler "Storm" Wood on Team eLevate, who will be unable to attend the CEVO LAN tournament on April 14-15 due to work restrictions. Hiko had also previously played as a stand-in for many other teams in North America, including Area51 Gaming and the former iBUYPOWER lineup.
I will be ringing for @eLevateGG at @cevo LAN in 2 weeks. Prepare your bodies :D First pro LAN as a player in 4+ months!
