Team EnVyUs are the winners of SLTV StarSeries XII after they managed to take down Ninjas in Pyjamas in the finals 3-0.

The grand finals brought us a rematch of the winners bracket finals and also a rematch of ESL One Katowice semi finals between Team EnVyUs and Ninjas in Pyjamas. The rivalry between those two teams is big and it's always nice to watch a great match between those two titans. This time nV had a 1-0 advantage due to coming from the winners bracket, so NiP had to win 3 maps in order to claim the title and grand prize of $18,000. The veto process didn't bring any major upsets as nV picked de_inferno and de_cache, while NiP went for de_mirage and de_dust2.
It's questionable who the best team in the world on de_inferno, but one thing is certain, Happy is one of the best players on this map. Yesterday, we could see a ruthless nV giving only 1 round to NiP on this map. Today, NiP had a small advantage starting on the CT side which brought them nine rounds. However, once the sides switched, the French team completely demolished the Swedish squad and closed this map with 16-9, not allowing them to score even a single round at T side. nV was led by Happy who was top fragging most of the time, he was mostly using agressive tactics on banana where he was pushing down it and picking the frags, but the rest of the team was also prepared to stop the tec9 rushes. SmithZ was also holding the arch side of A bomb site well with the AWP and all in all, we saw a really good showing from the French team on this map.
The second map of this series was opened by nV winning the knife round after which they decided to start on the more favored CT side. Quickly after they just managed to shut down NiP on A bombsite preventing them from planting the bomb and taking a 1-0 lead. The match got pause for a bit longer period since Happy had some technical issues on his PC. Once the game was resumed, the French team continued in the same fashion getting up to 3 rounds. NiP broke this three-rounds streek and got on the board with their first round. However, nV didn't allow them to make any major comebacks as they just continued their agressive CT side play to climb up to 10-1. At this point, the Swedes were forced to use a time out in order to stop this huge streak made by nV and to plan on what to do next. It worked out as NiP scored their second round for 10-2, but unfortunately for them that was the last round which they won in this match. nV just snowballed to 13-2 and in the second half they went full rush on B bomb site three times in a row to take a quick 16-2 win.
