In the first elimination match of the SLTV StarSeries XII LAN finals, Titan came out victorious, defeating Na'Vi 2-0.

The Day 2 of SLTV StarSeries XII LAN finals brought us the first elimination match of the lower bracket between Natus Vincere and Titan. Titan didn't have a really good day yesterday as they lost to NiP 2-0 and got knocked down to the lower bracket. On the other hand, Na'Vi took a 2-1 win over TSM and almost made an upset in their match against Team EnVyUs which they eventually lost 2-1. During the veto process we could see the Ukranian team going once again for the de_dust2 pick, while Titan sticked to their primary choice of de_cache. The last map which should be the decider if needed was de_inferno.
Natus Vincere couldn't open de_dust2 in their recognized style, as Titan did shut them down early on, not allowing them to get hands on any economy or easy rounds. The French team played a good defense, taking 11 rounds by the end of the first half. The second half was more balanced as we could see Na'Vi playing their agressive style, where they pushed through the mid and B tunnels, but it didn't pay off this time as in the end Titan came out on the top with 16-11.
On de_cache we had the Ukranian team starting on CT side, but the French didn't mind it much as they could find the weakness in the Ukrainian's defense very quickly. Na'Vi was struggling to get at lead as they were moving over to the less favored T side of this map and in the end they had only 1 round lead, 8-7, at the end of the first half. The second half brought almost a perfect CT play by Titan, where they gave Na'Vi only 2 rounds and took 9 continuously for the final score of 16-10. The important fact of the whole series is that Titan played as a team, where we couldn't see kennyS top fragging and the other players underperforming. This time, all players played their roles really well, with RpK, Maniac and apEX leading the cavalry.
