desi returns to eLevate

Team eLevate have announced that Derek "desi" Branchen will be returning to their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster.

Earlier this week we reported that former eLevate player Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski would be leaving the team to replace Keith "NAF-FLY" Markovic in Team Liquid, which left eLevate without a 5th man on their roster.

It now appears that Derek "desi" Branchen will be joining the roster, stepping in for EliGE after a brief hiatus. The 17 year old CS:GO player had recently played in a variety of teams, including iBUYPOWER, Area51, and eLevate itself.

Brandon "MaDDoG" Hatfield, CEO of Team eLevate had the following to say about the situation:

We were sorry to see Derek go, but hoped that wouldn’t be the last we saw of him. He is a solid player with skills to spare, and will ultimately be a great player in our roster. We’ll be continuing our way to the top of NA CS:GO in no time with this lineup.

In addition, desi also said the following:

Rejoining the eLevate team was an easy decision for me. After being out of competitive play for some time now, I'm more hungry now than ever. After seeing eLevate really hit their stride in the second half of the season, it was great to know that I am teaming up with an already solid team. I'm excited to see what the team can do from here on out.

Team eLevate makes their next appearance at the CEVO LAN in the MLG.tv Arena in Columbus, Ohio on April 13-15.

This means that Team eLevate will now have the following roster:

France David "XP3" Garrido
United States Tyler "Storm" Wood
United States Will "RUSH" Wierzba
United States Daniel "roca" Gustaferri
United States Derek "desi" Branchen
