EliGE in for Team Liquid

North American-based Team Liquid have announced changes in their CS:GO roster today.

Keith "NAF-FLY" Markovic will be stepping down from his role with the active roster, staying with the team as a substitute player. In his place, Team Liquid have announced that Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski will be joining the roster.

Jablonowski joined another North American-based side at the beginning of 2015 and has played with eLevate for the past three months. A good showing at recent North American-based events, including helping the team secure a spot in the CEVO Season 6 LAN finals (which was vacated by Cloud9), helped secure the move to the large eSports organization.

Regarding the move, Jablonowski had this to say in an interview with Liquid:

I have always looked up to Liquid from the SC2 days and it is an honor to be a part of them under the same brand for their CS:GO division. All of the players on the team have a high amount of raw talent and if we get the chemistry to work, we can definitely fight with the European teams as well. My goals with Team Liquid is to, ultimately, win a major, but the starting goal for now is to be North America's best and advance through the qualifier TO the major itself.

While Team Liquid will not be participating in the CEVO Season 6 LAN finals, having dropped out toward the end of the season, they will hope to continue their strong run of form in the FACEIT League, where they currently top the North American division with an impressive 4-0 record.
