Team Orbit have won Season 1 of the RGN Intercontinental Open CS:GO tournament following an impressive 4-1 victory over Gamers2.
Gamers2 started off the double BO3 finals strong, with a one sided 16-6 victory over their Swedish rivals on the first map, de_mirage. However, the Polish team failed to repeat their victory on any of the other maps, as Team Orbit proceeded to go on a complete winning streak by winning the other two maps in the first BO3, 16-13 on de_cache and 16-8 on de_season.
The second BO3 was no different, as Team Orbit finished the job by winning de_dust2 in a slightly closer scoreline of 16-12. However, the final map of de_cache was once again very one sided as the Swedes took the map 16-6, winning the entire tournament 4-1.
