The first semi final match is over with Titan taking a very convincing win over Penta.
Day 2 started with no delays so Penta and Titan kicked off with their first map straight away. The map pick was de_cache. We could see Titan last night fighting their way out of the group stage on this map. Somehow the scenario repeated and Titan again couldn't form a wall of defense to win the first half on CT side. Penta quickly collected a five rounds at which point Titan woke up on the wings of apEX and kennyS. At the half time Titan had a 9-6 lead and it was looking well for the German team as they were moving to the more favored CT side. The pistol round brought a big courage by the Germans as in the 2v3 situation they decided to push through the smoke on the B bombsite and to kill the remaining T players, although the bomb was dropped and in their hands on the other part of the smoke. However, kennyS was making nice entry frags and as the match was lasting longer the Penta's performance was dropping a bit. In the end French team took the map one.
Penta was just clueless in the second map against Titan
The second map was a Penta's pick, de_inferno. However, Titan won the knife round and had the advantage of starting on CT side. The map started with Titan easily taking the pistol round and just rolling on by winning one after another and completely shutting down the German team. It was a clear apEX's show where he together with kennyS just demolished them. In the end, the result was 16-0 and Titan moved on to the grand finals where they will be waiting for the winner of Ninjas in Pyjamas vs HellRaisers. Penta will still have a chance to fight for third place.
