The winter edition of ASUS ROG is all set to start today with the group matches, in which we can see eight teams battling out for the $25,000 prize in total.
The eight teams have been distributed into the two groups with four in each. The group stage will use a GSL format, which means that groups will be set as small double elimination brackets. The team that wins two matches will advance, while the team which lose two will get eliminated.
The playoffs will feature single elimination bracket with a best of three series. The semi final matches and grand finals we will be able to watch a third place decider as well.
