NiP stomped HellRaisers with a 2:0 map score and secure themselves the first spot in the semi-finals.
The first map was determined to be de_dust2 and Ninjas in Pyjamas started off as Terrorist, which is considered to be the slightly harder side to play. However the Swedes easily won the pistol round and added up some more rounds to their score counter, until HellRaisers got their first round. But it seemed that NiP wasn't really shocked by that and continued to gain round by round, only allowing HellRaisers to win one more round. Switchting sides with a 13:2 scores thanks to some superior AWP shots by Mikail 'maikelele' Bill. The CT side was only a matter of form for NiP as they quickly got their three needed rounds, which made the game 1:0 into NiP's favour.

Up next was de_inferno and this time both teams switched sides and HellRaisers started off as Terrorists. Once again the Swedes secured themselves the pistol round and went on to win the following two anti-ECOs, making it an early 3:0 lead. The match then proceeded to be more and more some kind of open clash and it turned out to be really hard for NiP to save the bomb spot and avoid getting the bomb planted. Just when the game looked to turn around for HellRaisers at the score of 5:7, it was Patrik 'f0rest' Lindberg who probably showed off his best perfomance in months. Not only once, but several times he made the difference with always more than one kill every round. Representative for his perfomance was a round right before the switch, were he killed all three of HellRaiser's players in a 2on3 situation, with the bomb planted. The last kill was just a show off of how much experience the Swede got. With just eight bullets left in his M4A1 he decided to shoot every single bullet, even stopping for once to properly aim again, rather than spray down his opponent. Winning the ECO as Terrorists for the third time today, broke HellRaisers motivation and they lost six out of seven rounds, which secured NiP the first semi-final slot, where they will be either put up against Virtus.Pro or the German side of PENTA.
A special mention in this article deserves the Swedish crowd, who literally jumped off their seats for every round NiP won, pushing them beyond their limits. Even maikelele confirmed this by saying in an interview that "they can feel the energy from the crowd".
