nxl> wins BenQ SEA League

BenQ CS:GO League 2014 LAN finals were hold this weekend at Orange Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The top eight teams from South East Asia have battled out for the cut of RM8,500 (~$2,500) prize pool.

After one online and three offline qualifier, the top eight teams have been determined for the main event which was hold this weekend. The venue was at the Orange Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

BovinesOrange eSports have came on the top of the online qualifier, while TEAMnxl> were runner ups. The offline qualifiers were conquered by Orange eSports and Insidious Gaming. pal and MVP also got the slot at the main even since they both have finished second in the offline qualifiers.

The format of LAN finals was set to group stages and playoffs. The top four teams ofr group stages were placed into the single elimination bracket. All the matches were be played in the best-of-three format.

Among the top four teams were nxl>, MVP, Orange and Insidious. nxl> and Insidious played the first semi final match were the win was taken by nxl with the score of 2-1, while in the second final match MVP defeated Orange with a similiar score. In the Grand Finals a home crowd couldnt help MVP to take the title. nxl> were supreme making it 2-0 and taking the championship title and prize of RM5,000.
