smn kicked out of ALTERNATE

Team ALTERNATE has announced that they will be removing Simon "smn" Beck from their roster due to a recent hacking ban on ESEA.

The German player was banned from ESEA earlier today following a detection from ESEA's custom anti-cheat software, which eventually led to the ALTERNATE organization to remove him from the roster. While it is still unclear when and where exactly he cheated, the organization was swift to react in order to preserve their reputation.

Simon "smn" Beck posted the following on his Facebook page, before eventually removing the post:

A small hint from myself: Watch closely on LAN. There are a lot of cheaters in international teams who I know that cheat. It's absolutely no problem to cheat on LAN, you don't even have to run a file, thanks to Workshop and SteamCloud.

His statement leads to a question regarding the legitimacy of professional players, and even opens the idea that players hack at LAN tournaments to the realm of possibility.

The Team ALTERNATE organization had the following to say about the situation:

After we initially waited for an appeal to the ESEA ban, we must now finally assume that smn has used in his role as a player in Team Alternate with prohibited aids. Of course, this is in stark contradiction to what Team ALTERNATE wants to stand for in eSports, so we would like to give our opponents, fans, and the CS:GO Community an apology for the behavior of the player. In addition, the player is of course removed with immediate effect from the lineup and the ALTERNATE organization reserves the right to file legal charges against the player for his defmatory conduct.

Team ALTERNATE will now have the following roster:

Germany Michele "zonixx" Köhler
Germany Manuel "approx" Zeitz
Germany Tizian "tiziaN" Feldbusch
Turkey Fatih "gob b" Dayik
