Virtus.pro are the crowned Kings of Caseking King of Kings tournament. They won the title by defeating Cloud9 in the finals with 2-0.
After nine cups and one final event, Caseking's events are finally over and Virtus.pro are the Kings. The Polish team were very dominant throughout the playoffs. All four participants of the playoffs will be seen at DreamHack Winter later this month and this event served as nice practice for them.
In the semi finals Virtus.pro met Ninjas in Pyjamas, who were first in group A. VP won this duel with the score of 2-0, taking both maps with almost the same result (16-9 and 16-8). In the finals they had to meet the North American team, Cloud9 who were better than mousesports in the other semi final match.
The Grand Final match featured a best-of-three series where Virtus.pro came in really confident, winning knife rounds and getting CT side on both maps. The first one was de_overpass which ended with the score 16-12(11-4), while de_cache was 16-8(10-5).
