CEVO has announced that Season 6 of their CS:GO league will feature at least $15,000 in total prize money.
The North American CS:GO tournament will feature a guaranteed $15,000 prize pool split between the professional, main, intermediate, and open division, with the opportunity to grow even larger via community crowdfunding.
The Professional Division, which will feature 16 of the best teams in North America will have an allocated $11,275 total prize pool. In addition, the top teams from the online portion of the league will be given the opportunity to compete at the LAN finals.
CEVO-P prize pool distribution:
1st (50%) - $5,637.00
2nd (25%) - $2,818.00
3rd (15%) - $1,691.00
4th (10%) - $1,127.00
The Main Division will include 48 semi-pro teams and will feature a total prize pool of $2,255. The top six teams from this division will advance to the professional division.
CEVO-M prize pool distribution:
1st (60%) - $1,355.00 + automatic invite to s7 Professional Placement Tournament
2nd (27%) - $610.00 + automatic invite to s7 Professional Placement Tournament
3rd (13%) - $295.00 + automatic invite to s7 Professional Placement Tournament
4th-6th - automatic invite to s7 Professional Placement Tournament
The CEVO Intermediate Division will be open for anyone to enter that pays a premium of $10. This division will feature a total prize pool of $1,355, and the top sixteen teams will be placed in the main division.
CEVO-IM prize pool distribution:
1st (60%) - $812.00 + automatic moveup to s7 Main skill division + invite to s7 Professional Placement Tournament
2nd (27%) - $365.00 + automatic moveup to s7 Main skill division
3rd (13%) - $176.00 + automatic moveup to s7 Main skill division
4th-16th - automatic moveup to s7 Main skill division
Finally, the CEVO Open Division will be free for all players and teams to join. This division will have $150 allocated for first place, while the top four teams will advance to the main division.
CEVO-O prize pool distribution:
1st (100%) - $150.00 + automatic moveup to s6 Main skill division
2nd-4th - automatic moveup to s7 Main skill division
All CEVO Season 6 matches will be played on a standard map rotation, regardless of division level.
