Hitbox Arena Championship 3 is all set for the top 4 teams. The first semi final match is scheduled to start today at 19.00 CEST, where Fnatic will take on Team LDLC. The other duel will see Virtus.pro fighting Team Dignitas on October 20th at 20.00 CEST.
The third edition of Hitbox Arena Championship with only four teams left is slowly coming to an end. The first semi final match between Fnatic and Team LDLC is scheduled for today at 19.00 CEST. This duel will feature best of three series where the winner will advance to the grand finals while the loser will get eliminated. Both teams are currently at the peak of their form why it's not surprise to see them taking 1st and 2nd place at our rankings databse. Fnatic is currently considered by community as the most stable team in terms of performance, however the French team could easily say the same for them. They have a huge win streek leaving all the big names behind them. Fnatic has only lost to Virtus.pro in FACE IT league on de_dust2, so Team LDLC might look to take this in their advantage if they choose to pick this map. If we look back at their past encounters, the only two loses in this month Team LDLC has got in matches against Fnatic, both on de_cache so they'll probably look to avoid playing this map. All in all, this will be a great match to watch where the top class teams will clash.
In the other semi finals we will see Team Dignitas vs Virtus.pro who will fight for the second spot in grand finals. Both teams are more or less consistent in their performance. We can see that Team Dignitas is supremely holding their 3rd spot at our rankings database, while Virtus.pro even with some fluctuations in their results they've picked on now and are currently 4th. Virtus.pro were playing with the stand-in in the most recent LAN event, GameShow. MICHU was a nice substitution for pasha, however VP star player is now back so reinforced with the "biceps" they will try to prove once again, after EMS One Katowice, that they have what it takes to be the best. Both teams have the exact same record in October with 7 wins and 4 lost matches, but looking at their past encounters Virtus.pro clearly has an advantage since they've scored five wins in a row. The most recent one was in FACE IT league where they took de_overpass with the score of 16-7. It's clear that community can't expect nothing less than a great show from this duel.
