After an exciting performance at ESL One Cologne, Cloud9 follows it up with this beautiful frag movie.
No matter how you look at it, Cloud9 had some of the most exciting games of the whole 2014 ESL One Cologne tournament. Not only did they come together as a team, they all had some very flashy individual play to boot. That trademark game against Dignitas in the group stage, the insane comback versus Titan, and an absolutely legendary series with Ninjas in Pajamas, the eventual victors of the entire tournament. Cloud9 surely made a name for themselves, and the North American scene in general at that tournament.
To celebrate a stellar performance against the top teams in the world, C9's very own Calle Danielsson has created a spectacular frag video. This is quite honestly one of the better frag videos you'll see for CS:GO. The crisp visual edits, great audio mixing, and amazing plays really come together to encapsulate the atmosphere of the entire tournament and create even more excitment for the next major.
Here is an exclusive statement from Calle about joining the Cloud9 team and making the video:
"I joined the Cloud9 Production Crew a few weeks ago and got assigned to create the ESL One movie as my first big project in the team.
The first step in making the movie was going through all the demos and deciding what would fit in, once that was finished I started looking for appropriate songs. I worked with the capturing & editing of the movie for about three weeks and got a lot of helpful criticism from both the production crew aswell as the players in C9 which really helped increase the quality of the project. As finals words I would like to thank all of the beta testers, the Cloud9 production crew aswell as the players of Cloud9."
