Three days ago we reported that the winners of the regular season of SLTV StarSeries Season X, Mousesports, decided to not attend the LAN Finals in Kiev at the end of this month. Today, the organizers announced myXMG as their replacement.

Earlier we reported that Mousesports, first seed of the round robin phase, decided to not attend the LAN Finals in Kiev at the end of this month. The first in line to replace them were Virtus.pro as they were placed 5th, however TaZ said in an interview that the team is looking to dedicate more time for practice and they will not be playing anything until the end of the month.

The organizers were in contact with the other teams as well and in the end it was myXMG who were invited to be the fourth team at the LAN Finals, and will be going up against Fnatic, HellRaisers and Natus Vincere for the total prize pool of $30,000. myXMG, also known as ex-Reason Gaming, were playing under Reason and AiN tags in the group stage of StarSeries X and ended the phase with four wins and one draw.

The SLTV StarSeries LAN finals were supposed to have Mousesports against Natus Vincere in the first round of Playoffs, but with the swap organizers made some slight changes and the Danes will be taking on Fnatic now, while Natus Vincere will clash with the HellRaisers. The playoffs is a double elimination bracket with matches being best-of-three series. Therefore dropping one series still allow for the possibility of a losers bracket comeback.
